The Annual Security Review Conference (ASRC) is the OSCE’s main event for enhancing dialogue on regional security challenges.
It gives participating States an opportunity to exchange views on issues related to the OSCE’s politico-military dimension, to take stock of the relevant activities undertaken by the OSCE and its participating States, and to promote the exchange of information and co-operation with relevant international and regional organizations and institutions.
Under the 2021 Swedish OSCE Chair, participants of the two-day event will focus on “Back to basics: our commitments, our security, our OSCE”.
During four working sessions, participants will address a broad range of topics related to the wide spectrum of politico-military security in the OSCE region:
- Conflict and crisis situations in the OSCE area – building security and confidence
- Transnational threats – current and future trends in the OSCE area and beyond
- Conventional arms control and CSBMs – challenges and opportunities
- Early warning, conflict prevention, crisis management, conflict resolution and post-conflict rehabilitation – lessons learned and the way ahead 10th anniversary
This page will be regularly updated with public documents and information about the conference.
