Technical standards and requirements
This website is designed using the international standards developed by the World Wide Web Consortium to assure a smooth browsing experience accessible to all our users.
These standards are supported by modern web browsers such as recent versions of Google Chrome and Android, Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE10 or higher) and Edge, Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox, Opera Software's Opera browser and Yandex YaBrowser, which support HTML 5, CSS 3 and JavaScript. If you are using an older browser and experience problems with this site, we recommend that you upgrade your browser to the latest version.
Adobe Reader (or any other PDF viewer) is required to view or download documents and publications in PDF format. You can download the latest version from the Adobe website.
The OSCE website contains a number of multilingual sections; therefore for languages other than English, a two- or three-letter code is automatically included in the URL address according to a standardized language code list ISO 639-2.
We also use the international public telecommunication numbering plan standard to format the phone members displayed on the website, so that they can directly be dialled from a smartphone.
Responsive design
The OSCE website has been designed with multiple devices in mind. So whether you're viewing on a monitor, tablet or smartphone, you will enjoy a rich user experience.
