The Report is based on a visit to Italy by the OSCE Special Representative and Co-ordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings, Maria Grazia Giammarinaro from 17-18 June and 15-19 July 2013. This was the first visit of the Special Representative to Italy and as such afforded an important opportunity to meet with key state and civil society stakeholders in all fields related to anti-trafficking work in Italy and to learn from the Italian experience to date. During her visit, the Special Representative met national counterparts and local authorities from various regions of Italy in Rome.
