On 9-10 October 2007, the Spanish city of Cordoba is hosting an international Conference on Intolerance and Discrimination against Muslims, presented by the Spanish Chairmanship of the OSCE. This event is inspired by the successful outcomes of the earlier conferences in Cordoba in 2005 and Bucharest in 2007.
The goal of the Cordoba conference is to introduce the phenomenon of intolerance and discrimination against Muslim communities to the political realm within the OSCE, and to approach the issue with the objective of proposing a solution to this specific form of discrimination.
The city of Cordoba, with its long history and tradition of housing diverse cultures and religions, is an ideal place to host this conference, which will be held at the Palacio de Congresos, located at Calle Torrijos 10, 14003 Cordoba, Spain.
