VIENNA, 23 June 2004 - OSCE Chairman-in-Office Solomon Passy called on the people of Serbia on Wednesday to ensure a strong turnout in the second round of presidential elections on Sunday.
"The second round of presidential elections on June 27 will provide Serbian citizens with a unique opportunity to make an irreversible choice for Europe and democracy," the Bulgarian Foreign Minister said.
"I believe it is important that all the people of Serbia, including young people and representatives of national minorities, fully seize this opportunity and actively participate in the selection of their own President."
