At this year’s OSCE-wide Chairpersonship-in-Office Conference on Cyber/ICT Security, ‘People, Confidence, Resilience — Building Cyber Security for All’, participating States will discuss strengthening cyber resilience and building a cohesive policy approach across State actors and other stakeholders, such as the private sector, academia and NGOs. The discussions between relevant political and expert stakeholders will focus on raising awareness about the importance of cybersecurity, capacity building and the implementation of confidence-building measures (CBMs).
The Conference will consist of five sessions. The first will provide a platform for discussions on the growing threat of cyberattacks in modern conflicts, focusing on Russia’s war against Ukraine. The second session will be dedicated to the role of regional organizations in reducing risks stemming from the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs), and the third will focus on youth and cyber/ICT security. The fourth and fifth sessions will address the importance of public-private partnerships and the inter-connectedness between cyber/ICT security and people.
