About
This year’s Cyber/ICT security Conference will explore the specific challenges and opportunities that new technologies present to conflict prevention in cyberspace. The conference will highlight the human aspects of cyber/ICT security by underscoring the role of the individual and human rights in reducing the risks of conflict stemming from the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs).
Panellists and participants will share their experiences from across countries, organizations and sectors, with a particular focus on the OSCE as a regional platform for conflict prevention. The event will bring together stakeholders from the policy, security and technology sectors to discuss the prospects of improved collective action in cyberspace.
The Conference will be co-hosted by the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute (SIPRI) and will form part of the 2021 Stockholm Forum on Peace and Development. The
Swedish Chairpersonship of the OSCE has compiled a programme consisting of selected sessions from the Forum as well as separate sessions for OSCE-affiliated participants only.
