OSCE Academy in Bishkek holds graduation ceremony for 44 students
A graduation ceremony for 44 students of the OSCE Academy in Bishkek’s two Masters Programmes in Politics and Security and Economic Governance and Development was held in the Kyrgyz capital on 16 December 2016.
Representatives of the OSCE Centre in Bishkek, the diplomatic community, partner organizations and donors as well as parents and friends of the graduates participated at the ceremony.
“The Academy provides a solid theoretical base with a strong practical component. While the students were studying hard to achieve success, we joined efforts to provide them with the best and promising studying conditions. Congratulations, dear graduates!” said Ambassador Pierre Von Arx, Head of the OSCE Centre in Bishkek.
Indira Satarkulova, Acting Director of the OSCE Academy, congratulated graduates on the successful completion of their studies. She also thanked the Academy’s trustees, partners and donors for their advocacy, guidance and continuing support.
Graduates received certificates and prizes for their outstanding academic achievements and have become lifetime members of the alumni network. The Best Thesis awards and Top Grade Point Average (GPA) awards were also presented.
As of December 2016, the total number of alumni of the OSCE Academy in Bishkek has reached 375.
