Head of OSCE Centre in Bishkek and Kyrgyzstan’s Foreign Minister discuss further co-operation
BISHKEK, 17 September 2014 – Ambassador Sergey Kapinos, the Head of the OSCE Centre in Bishkek, met Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Erlan Abdyldaev today to discuss further co-operation and the implementation of the projects in the country.
Foreign Minister Abdyldaev underlined the importance of the OSCE activities in Kyrgyzstan and expressed willingness to further co-operation with the Ministry’s deeper involvement in the process of project development, monitoring and evaluation.
“The activities of the OSCE Centre in Bishkek have experienced significant changes in the last two years,” said Ambassador Kapinos. “The Office tailored its programme to country’s key reforms in the area of security, governance and criminal justice. The activities of the Centre continue to strive for tangible results contributing to security and stability of the Kyrgyz Republic.”
