Deadline for submitting post-election reports in Bosnia and Herzegovina

SARAJEVO, 27 December 2000 - The OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina wants to remind the political parties of Bosnia and Herzegovina to submit their post-election financial report by 27 December 2000, the day of the official deadline. This date is set exactly 30 days after the technical certification of the election results.
A copy of the reporting form was delivered to all political parties and they were at the same time informed of this deadline. However, because 27 December is an OSCE Mission holiday, political party financial reports may be filed by close of business on Thursday, 28 December. Parties may file their reports at any OSCE Regional Centre or at the OSCE Head Office in Sarajevo.

The OSCE established its present Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina on 18 December 1995.
In accordance with the General Framework Agreement for Peace (GFAP), the OSCE Mission activities are to: promote Democratization and the building of a vibrant civil society, foster the development of professional journalism and monitor the rights of journalists, monitor and advance the Human Rights situation, supervise the conduct of Elections, and encourage Regional Stabilization through arms control and confidence and security-building measures. The OSCE Mission continues to work closely with other international organizations and local institutions to implement the Dayton Peace Accords.
