Experimental aerial observation flights in Bosnia and Herzegovina

SARAJEVO, 9 October 2000 - In co-operation with the two entity armed forces, the Office of the Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson, the Czech Republic and Denmark, the OSCE Mission to Bosnia and Herzegovina is organizing three simultaneous experimental aerial observation flights, which will take place 11 October 2000 in the Federation of BiH and the Republika Srpska. The Czech Republic will be providing a fixed-wing aircraft for the event while both entity armed forces will participate in the exercise and provide the helicopters which will be used simultaneously during the observation flights.
All media are cordially invited to attend a media opportunity in front of the aircraft on Wednesday, 11 October at the SFOR section of the Sarajevo International Airport. All media representatives are required to assemble at the French SFOR gate of these premises by 10.00 hrs. Following this event, all media are invited to attend a media reception between 18.00 and 19.00 hrs. on Thursday, 12 October at the Hotel Grand.
