The Central Asian Youth Network (CAYN) seminar is an annual event organized to inspire and educate local youth through an interactive event featuring speakers who lead discussions on issues relating to the OSCE concept of security and how it applies to Central Asia. International experts speak at the event to help guide and develop the young community of inquisitive, open-minded, critical thinkers. CAYN events are intended to have a regional focus and the annual gathering is a showcase of talent, innovation and topics specifically selected to inspire young adults in the community and to have them think about relevant security issues.
This seminar is part of the OSCE’s efforts to enhance young people’s understanding of contemporary security threats and explain the OSCE’s role in responding to them. It is organized by the OSCE Programme Office in Astana with the financial support of the US Mission to the OSCE.
