OSCE Centre in Astana supports anticorruption training seminar in Kazakhstan
Some 25 high- and mid-level experts from the Interior Ministry, National Security Committee, Financial Police, Prosecutor General’s Office and Customs Control Committee of Kazakhstan are participating in a two-day national training seminar on preventing and combating corruption, taking place in Almaty from 3 to 4 October 2013.
The event is co-organized by the OSCE Centre in Astana, the EU/UNDP Border Management Programme in Central Asia and the International Centre for Migration Policy Development.
The seminar aims to raise participants’ awareness of anticorruption policies and tools and strengthen their professional skills in applying them. An expert from Bulgaria will give a general overview of the core anticorruption instruments that can be used by law enforcement agencies.
This training event is part of the OSCE Centre’s activities in the good governance sphere, which supports developing and introducing a unified approach of all stakeholders in the fight against corruption.
