OSCE Presence and SEED organize seminars for youth in Albania

TIRANA, 3 December 2003 - Seminars that will help develop entrepreneurial thinking, encourage further education and develop respect for legal business practices will be held in Albania in December.

They are being organized by the OSCE Presence in Albania in partnership with the Southeast Europe Enterprise Development (SEED) programme of the World Bank.

The second series of Youth Enterpreneurship Seminars (YES), entitled 'On the Road to Your Success", aims to promote the entrepreneurial spirit and help in understanding the formalities of registering businesses and paying taxes.

As in the first round of seminars held in different districts of Albania from June to July 2003, the second round is also targeting young people interested in economic matters, not only from a political point of view, but also from the perspective of entrepreneurs.

Under this latest round, two seminars have already been held in Elbasan and Durres on 13 and 14 November and they will be followed by three others in Fier, Gjirokastra and Vlora, on 4, 5 and 18 December respectively.
