OSCE Chairperson-in-Office strongly condemns deadly attack on EULEX personnel in Kosovo, calls to bring perpetrators to justice

KYIV, 19 September 2013 – The OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara, strongly condemned today the attack on a EULEX convoy, which led to the death of one EULEX staff member in Zvečan/Zveçan Municipality in northern Kosovo.

“I condemn in the strongest possible terms this act of violence, and convey my sincere condolences to the bereaved family,” Kozhara said.

The OSCE Chair called on all to remain calm and stressed that everything possible must be done to fully investigate the incident and bring the perpetrators to justice.
