OSCE car damaged in Dubrovnik incident

ZAGREB, 5 July 2006 - Three vehicles, including a car belonging to an OSCE field Mission, were yesterday damaged in Dubrovnik.
The incident occurred in the parking lot of to the Hotel Neptun, where an OSCE regional workshop on promoting cross-border co-operation in South-Eastern Europe was being held. Around 3:00 AM an official car from the Serb Ministry of Finance and Customs was set alight. The ministry car was totally destroyed. No one was injured.
Two other cars parked nearby, one belonging to the OSCE Presence in Albania, and a private car with Zagreb license plates, were also damaged.
A police investigation is under way, with a special team sent from Zagreb. An initial investigation suggests it was an arson attack, police said.
