This handbook aims to provide concrete tools, strategies and guidelines to integrate this important topic into the daily practice of media organizations. Its purpose is not only to empower employees to take care of their psychological well-being, but also to encourage management and leadership to recognize the importance of this topic and to actively work on creating work environments that support employees' psychological well-being. The manual contains an overview of the basic rights of the public and the interested public that form the framework for active participation. Active participation of the public in environmental protection includes models of informing and involving the public in various forms of decision-making of importance for the protection and preservation of the environment. Almost all OSCE participating States use some form of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in their electoral processes. These technological developments inevitably bring certain benefits but also many challenges that were not common for traditional, paper-based elections.

This Handbook is a practical tool for regulatory and policy impact assessment at central and local governance and is intended to facilitate the process of incorporating the gender perspective in decision-making. The Handbook provides basic information and practical guidelines on how to assess the impact of gender equality on policies and adopted decisions and regulations. The methodology and the practical tools presented in this Handbook can be applied to other vulnerable groups in society, such as: people with disability, minority groups, etc.
