Podcast Series: Female Role Models in Water Management

Organized by
The project "Women, Water Management and Conflict Prevention - Phase II" involves the development of a series of podcasts dedicated to female role models sharing their experience in the water sector and engaging them in cross-regional and inter-generational discussion.
The podcasts are developed in partnership with the Central Asia Youth for Water Network (CAY4W Network), a regional network connecting youth (students, young specialists, activists and enthusiasts) in order to engage them into the Central Asia water management issues.
The episodes will provide an informal opportunity for junior and senior women professionals to share their views on challenges and opportunities in the water sector and to raise awareness on the importance of women’s participation in water management in the region, as well as gender mainstreaming in water governance.
The activity builds on the network and contacts established during the implementation of the first and second phases of the project and will increase the visibility of successful senior female water professionals and provide inspiration for young professionals, while highlighting the benefits of considering gender perspectives in water management.
