PRISHTINË/PRIŠTINA, 10 July 2015 – The Head of the OSCE Mission in Kosovo, Ambassador Jean-Claude Schlumberger, today condemned two incidents affecting the Kosovo Serb community in the village of Goraždevac/Gorazhdevc in Pejë/Peć municipality.
In the night between 8 and 9 July, a shooting targeted two vehicles owned by the Kolašinac family and an attempt to damage/burn a monument in the Kosovo Serb village was made.
Ambassador Schlumberger said, “I strongly condemn these incidents affecting the Kosovo Serb community, which contribute to a sense of distress and insecurity. I urge the police and other relevant institutions to investigate the cases swiftly, and to bring those responsible to justice. Such incidents adversely affect the peaceful co-existence of communities in Kosovo and must be treated as a matter of priority.”
