Prince Albert II of Monaco visits OSCE

VIENNA, 18 September 2006 - Prince Albert II of Monaco visited the OSCE today and discussed the Organization's work in the fight against trafficking in human beings, in particular the protection of children.
During his visit, Prince Albert met the Secretary General of the OSCE, Marc Perrin de Brichambaut, and the head of Belgium's delegation to the Organization, Ambassador Bertrand De Crombrugghe. Belgium holds the OSCE Chairmanship this year.
"Our country is particularly sensitive to the problems concerning disadvantaged and mistreated children, " the Prince said. "I am happy to be able to underscore our involvement in the OSCE programmes which deal with situations that are often painful and dramatic."
