Who we are
2024 OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Minister for Foreign, Trade and European Affairs of Malta, Ian Borg (Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malta)
A different participating State holds the OSCE Chairmanship each year with that country's Foreign minister acting as Chairperson-in-Office. The CiO is assisted by the previous and succeeding Chairpersons; the three of them together constitute the Troika. The origin of the institution lies with the Charter of Paris for a New Europe (1990), and the Helsinki Document 1992 formally institutionalized this function.

Future Chairmanship
The OSCE Chair will be held by Finland in 2025
