OSCE Mission to Ukraine (closed 1999)
The OSCE Mission to Ukraine became operational on 24 November 1994 with its headquarters in Kyiv. Its mandate expired on 30 April 1999.
The Mission was established with the task, among others, of supporting the work of experts on constitutional and economic matters to Ukraine and reporting on the situation in Crimea.
According to the PC Decision No.295 of 1 June 1999 the OSCE Mission to Ukraine was closed and the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine established for the purpose of carrying out tasks related to the new form of co-operation between Ukraine and the OSCE.
